Osnabrück – city of peace and birthplace of good vibes. Back in 1648, the Thirty Years’ War came to an end here, and 300 years later, one of Germany’s very first discos opened at the Ocambo Club. Two eras, one mission: bringing people together. That’s exactly our groove. Dancing the Perfect Union blends Osnabrück’s peaceful past with its dance-floor spirit. Because peace can be pretty darn funky.
From Ocambo-Club to STAYERY Lounge.
1959, Herrenteichstraße 1: The legendary Ocambo Club brings the groove to Osnabrück – one of the very first discos in Germany, spinning real vinyl instead of relying on a live band. Today, that spirit lives on with us: between disco balls, record players, and modern design, retro vibes meet new energy. Our lounge isn’t a museum – it’s a remake. Bright, open, and a little funky. Dancing the Perfect Union means making history shine — with a beat that brings people together.
Inspired by the city of peace.
Our design palette in colour and materials takes inspiration from Michael Johansson’s Public Square installation in Osnabrück. The artist integrated old cabinets and shelves into a war memorial – a charming reminder that history can be rearranged. That same idea lives in our loft: warm tones, light woods, and clean lines echo Johansson’s blend of everyday life and art. A design that shows personality without being loud.
