A STAYERY with a vibrant story – just like the capital itself. This is where it all began in 2019: the very first STAYERY, right in the heart of Friedrichshain. In a neighbourhood where Berlin never stopped being Berlin. Where you don’t just fit in – you belong. Part of the Kiez. A home for all temporary Berliners – welcomed by warm neon lights and cool concrete.

Like a mixtape of old and new: around Boxhagener Platz, vintage markets meet street art, corner pubs meet hipster cafés, and tourists cross paths with true Berlin originals. This atmosphere flows into the interior design of the public lounge area – a curated mix of design classics and vintage treasures. A living piece of art that captures the energy of the city – without ever losing its calm.

At the heart of the room stands an eight-meter-long solid wood table – a custom-made piece illuminated by industrial pendant lights, inviting you to work, eat, and hang out together. Café latte and coworking by day. After-work beers and board games by night. And just like in so many Berlin clubs, there’s no closing time here – but thankfully, no queues either.

In Berlin, there’s a late-night shop — or, as Berliners call it, a Späti — on almost every corner. But for this one, you don’t even have to leave the house. Right next to the entrance, you’ll find a spot for late-night talks, spontaneous encounters, and that last drink before check-out — all right inside the STAYERY. Open 24/7 and always stocked with cold German beer and your favourite snacks, it’s a true Berlin institution that, unlike our guests, never sleeps.

Behind a floor-to-ceiling glass-and-steel construction, it’s usually not the turntables that spin — but the washing machines. The windows of the bright red–tiled Laundry House can be opened, and the built-in bar — purely by coincidence — also happens to make a perfect DJ setup.
Because in Berlin, you never know when the next (house) party might start.
